Annwa's Blog

A blog about the things that interest me. There will probably be a lot of HCI/Human Factors content, but I'm not sure what direction I want to go yet.

Relive Your Teen Angst with The Perks of Being a Wallflower Trailer

Filmed in Pittsburgh! You can get a few glances from atop Mt. Washington, some trips through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel, and a good shot coming over the Ft. Pitt bridge from this trailer.

Origami Art Project!

Soooo… I’m super excited because soon I’ll be making some origami out of some old code that I wrote for class last year. I’m very excited because it will combine both the new stuff I am learning in modular origami, as well as include my feelings about computer science hidden on the inside! :) More info to come on that later.

so fantastic! (& a horribly awesome pun)

Get into the left lane and aim high, but keep one eye on the rear view mirror for the black and whites. Art cars are a grass roots movement. Change your vehicle, improve it, personalize it and make your own statement with it so that you can once again become one with it. Art cars are an expression of your freedom and above all, of the God-given American right to be yourself and flaunt it on the highways amd byways of America.

Q
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
A

Ha don’t know. I have a pretty lame memory. I do remember pushing a kid down the slide in preschool though…

I’m currently taking a class on constructing an art car & since I love cars & I love art I am SOOOOO excited :) (Also I’m pretty excited to hear that Houston is considered the “art car capital” of the world)

houstonhostlr:

The Art Car museum, or “Garage Mahal”, displays a variety of art cars and other contemporary art. Houston is considered the “art car capital” of the nation, and this museum displays many cars that have driven in past Art Car parades. Open Wednesday-Sunday, 11am-6pm, always free. Visit www.artcarmuseum.com for more information.
